Inovati does not only manufacturer and sell Kinetic Metallization (KM) equipment, but also works to develop KM specific powders to ensure the highest quality of coatings. The top micrograph was deposited using an Inovati specified and provided Ta powder. The lower micrograph shows a coating deposited using the same KM process parameters as the upper coating, but with a non-Inovati specified powder. The as-sprayed porosity is 5%.
